Coloured like the seasons - the pitoresque Bruneck is the heart and soul of the green Pustertal, not only for his central position. On the South you can go through the Gadertal to the world of the Dolomites and in the North you the Ahrntal leads you to its the world of glaciers. A small big world with his exhaustless offers for recreation and spare time. In the year 1256 Bruneck was mentioned for the first time in a document and became shortly the economical centre of the Pustertal. Today this touristic area has all requirements to have a varied, interesting but also restorative holiday. With the villages Bruneck, Reischach, St. Georgen, Stegen, Aufhofen, Dietenheim, Percha, Luns and Amaten offers this touristic area over 4000 hotelbeds in all categories. And in addition Bruneck has cozy cafes and restaurants and the Stadtgasse, one of the most beautyful shopping streets of South Tyrol with many small shops and expositions from local artists.

Its central location is not the only reason for the picturesque town of Bruneck being the heart and soul of the verdant Puster Valley. The Gader Valley extends towards the mountains of the Dolomites in the south, the peaceful Ahrn Valley meets the glaciers of the Zillertaler Alps in the north.
A small, big world as colourful as the seasons and whose range of recreational activities is practically inexhaustible. Numerous natural recreational and sports activities 365 days a year are just as alluring as the many equally popular successful sports and cultural events.

This begins with a 360 degree panoramic view from Kronplatz, the mountain nearest Bruneck, and the no. 1 ski area in the South Tyrol. Because of its state-of-the-art lifts and excellent slope grooming, Kronplatz is one of the most beautiful ski hubs in the Dolomite area.
In addition to skiing, snowboarding, and carving, you can cross-country ski on the 10.5 km/6.5 mi trail at the foot of Kronplatz in Reischach; it's ideal for beginners and families. Ice-skate at the ice-skating rink in the sport park in Reischach near the valley station or at the ice-skating rink in Bruneck. The ice disco on Wednesdays is an especially attractive pastime. Rental ice-skates are available.
Fun, entertainment and diversion - that's what tobogganing in Percha is like.

Several huts invite you to stop for a rest and it often happens that a delicious snack or a typical South Tyrolean dish and some enjoyable music make you forget the time so that you will finally have to sledge down to the valley in the moonlight.
