Holidays at Terento

The name of the holiday village Terenten/Terento originates from the Latin term "Torrentum" which means "Alpine river". This indicates the former settlement being located between two rivers: Ternerbach and Winnebach. Terenten is called the "sunny village" as it enjoys the most hours of sun in the whole of South Tyrol. The first settlements date back to the 10th century. The people have always appreciated the sunny position of this village. Nowadays, Terenten/Terento is a very popular holiday destination in summer and winter and offers numerous accommodations from farm holidays, apartment houses, to B&Bs, and 2-, 3- and 4-star hotels.
