Our hotel is situated amidst meadows and forests. Mittewald/Mezzaselva is a little country village, and is part of the community of Franzensfeste/Fortezza. Although not far from the freeway, the autobahn, and the biking trails, you're guaranteed peaceful and comfortable surroundings. Take a sun bath on the great big sundeck… Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool and tread in the health-giving Kneipp basin… Relax in the sauna… Or have fun playing table tennis.

We run a butcher shop know throughout this area. We get the meat from our own livestock and from nearby farms. We use these products to make hearty and delicious specialties of South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine. We also have a large vegetable garden, and can thus offer our guests not only good-tasting foods, but also guaranteed fresh and healthy ingredients.

Our hotel arose from the Brücke Inn, which can still be seen in the architecture. You'll meet all kinds of people from the village, as well as church-goers from the Mittewald/Mezzaselva Parish Church (which is dedicated to St. Martin von Tours). We will be delighted to fulfill your individual culinary wishes - that's why so many locals celebrate their family parties at our hotel. The fruits we use to prepare the juices and delicious marmalades you'll find at the richly decked breakfast buffet (with bio-corner) come from our own garden and organic fruit gardens. The perfect way to start your day!

Shady forest paths, lonely field trails, and gravel roads - or would you rather take the easier asphalt bicycle paths along the valley floor? It doesn't matter whether you prefer pleasant bicycle rides for the whole family or challenging mountainbike tours over hill and dale: This is a paradise for bicycle enthusiasts. The new bicycle path from the Brenner Pass till Bozen/Bolzano is a segment of the Munich-Verona bicycle network, and passes through the Eisack Valley / Val d'Isarco right past our hotel. We have a secure parking space for your bike and also bikes which we can lend you.

Hint: For a more adventurous time, try taking the Brenner Government Freeway rather than the autobahn when traveling to the south. Then you can make a rest-stop at our hotel and then continue on through the mountains or a pass. Enjoy the spectacular panorama of the Dolomites and the Alps while you ride along the curves!
