Holidays in Hafling, Vöran and Meran 2000

Just above the valley basin of Meran you find one of the most beautiful and sunniest high alpine plateaus in South Tyrol. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Dolomites, the Ortler Mountain Group, and the mountains of Meran, a variety of sign-posted hiking and walking paths, and fixed-aid climbs. A skiing paradise with perfectly groomed slopes and cross-country tracks, toboggan runs and winter hiking paths await you. Ski schools and ski huts round off the offer.

Hafling is only 10 km from Meran. The village counts 700 inhabitants and is located on a sunny high alpine plateau above the village basin of Meran. The panoramic road leading to the village is cleared in winter. Hafling is the home of Haflinger horses. Enjoy an outing on a horse-drawn sleigh or the many outdoor activities offered in Hafling like walking, hikes and demanding peak tours, cycling excursions or horse riding. Hafling offers a splendid view of the Texel, Brenta and Ortler Mountain Groups, of the Dolomites, and the Ötztal Alps.

The Meran 2000 ski resort is located only 15 minutes drive from the village.
