Holidays in Reschen South Tyrol

Reschen is located at 1508 m above sea level right at the border between North and South Tyrol. This is the source of Etsch River, the main river of the Vinschgau Valley leading into the Mediterranean Sea. Here you can visit the harbour Rojen at 2000 m above sea level, on of the highest settlement areas in Tyrol. The small St. Nikolaus Church was built at the beginning of the 15th century and impresses with gothic frescos.

Winter pleasures
The sunny ski resorts Schöneben, Maseben and Haideralm provide unlimited skiing fun on 110 km of perfectly groomed slopes, and offer modern cable car facilities and snow-guarantee until April. The ski resorts are also ideal for children.

Summer dream
A summer holiday couldn't be more varied. The area surrounding Reschen Mountain Pass offers easy round hikes and demanding sport highlights. A hiking net of 200 km of sign-posted hiking paths, up to 350 km of cycling and mountain-bike paths, a boat tour on Reschen Lake, and much more is possible. Experience fascinating villages, pure nature, and a splendid panoramic landscape. The 3 cable cars Schöneben, Haider Alm and Maseben are ideal for reaching high altitudes and enjoying comfortable hikes to high mountain peaks and traditional huts. A highlight for photographers is the church tower in Reschen Lake.
